This makes it possible to play games on the Switch Lite and Pro controller. For these Skyward Sword HD button controls, (L) and (R) represent the left and right analogue. In line with the HD remaster of Skyward Sword, the sword can now be swung by using the Right Joystick in addition to swinging the controller. The Switch Joy-Cons have an intuitive function that moves in the same direction as you move, same as the Wii Remote. In the case of Joy-Cons Swing Controls, you need to swing the right Joy-Con in the direction you want your sword to be swung. ![]() Press it while dashing to do a forward rollīlock when a shield is equipped with a pressįlick the Left Joy-Con downwards while dashing Dual Joy Cons is an inherent functionality of the Switch.Skyward Sword HD Basic Controls Shared Controls (Motion and Button Controls) So yeah, just my opinion but I don't think an emulator this mature, that already supports the Joy Cons natively (albeit individually), should rely on an external program for this. I do think the current input system is just a little bit borked (or something), because I can replicate this behavior on at least two different PCs (one running Win10, the other running Win11). I played with the motion controls up until eldin volcano and my arms and wrists did not appreciate that lol. Picked these Skyward Sword Joycons up for 13, how you ask Well thats exactly what I tend to answer in this very video.I warn you though, it took a ton of. Add that on top of the other issues, none of which are present in any other emulators. Joycons are fine but I hate motion controls, plus I never played this on the wii so I don’t have that nostalgia for motion controls people seem to have. For The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD on the Nintendo Switch, a GameFAQs message board topic titled I hate that I cant play this with the Joy-Cons and. Sometimes I'll have a single XB360 emulated controller, but Ryujinx will sometimes say there's two or three of them. I only have a single "right" Joy Con connected. Obviously, this option or a similar one is not present in Ryujinx since I'm guessing it still isn't implemented, which with how mature this emulator is at this point, it seems a bit silly honestly since it seems like both basic and essential functionality.Īs you can see from the screenshot above, there are other problems too such as duplicating some of the controllers. Maybe I'm not setting either "Controller Slot" or "Right Jo圜on Slot" correctly? Honestly I don't even know what these options do, what determines the "slot". As for motion, nothing I've tried works in Ryujinx so I'm without motion. So its impossible to configure anything, I just need to leave everything as default. I'll select the emulated 360 controller in Ryujinx, go to configure a button, and one of my Jo圜ons drops out of either DS4Windows or BetterJoy. I've tried using workarounds like DS4Windows and BetterJoy, but those come with their own problems such as disconnecting my controllers when configuring them, or getting the gyro functionality to work. Unfortunately, Ryujinx does not support them together natively, or at least I can't figure out a way to get them to work together without some external program. Recently my Switch Pro Controller took a dump, and my primary controllers for Switch emulation has largely been the Joy Cons. ![]() I can not get dual Joy Cons working correctly in this emulator with any method. But I think there's some major issues with the current input system. I love this emulator, it's come so far that it's mind blowing really.
